I was excited for my birthday this year! I had a few things planned and was excited to make the birthday comic :> (Also while writing this I realized I almost always posted the comic in Spring and then came back next spring, lol)
This one was real fun, because I think seeing what the characters do or say when I’m not around is interesting, considering especially the fact that all of the folks featured in this episode I interact with heavily! This episode is one of the examples I’d later understand as to what I wanted for 02. It’s very fun to see the characters come to life on the page in a way a lot of them didn’t get the chance to before! Also I just really liked drawing that big shot. Definitely one of my favorite birthday comics.
Also, I'm just a big crier. If people are too nice to me I just have a huge urge to bawl 🤣
